Thanksgiving History Zeyrexis Bueno

Thanksgiving is a very unique holiday that many people enjoy. Most people celebrate by getting together with their families to say things that they are grateful for and then they have a great feast! But do you know the history behind it? Well, that's what I would like to answer for you!

It all started when the pilgrims decided to get together and celebrate the harvest and past blessings of the year. Now we do similar things by eating foods like traditionally, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and many more. People speculate that the pilgrims might have eaten foods like blueberries, plums, grapes, gooseberries and probably more because that's what they had to harvest at the time.

Preferably, my family likes to make pastas like lasagna and we celebrate by getting together and sharing the things we are grateful for. The holiday has now expanded into many different countries around the world. How cool is that!
